| Who Am I? A fan that 'grew up' with the X-files and a Skinner devotee. Not one of 'those' fans---the kind that restraining orders have to taken out on Just a run of the mill fan who is a now a 'real' ER doctor and wonders if she should give up this hobby. Maybe after the movie I worked for two years as an ER doc at a Navajo Indian Reservation in Chinle AZ. Huge catchment area, very little money, and lots of sick people . It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It didn't occur to me until I'd been going out there for almost a year that The Blessing Way's filming location was only 40 miles east of my location. I got in my rental car and went in search of Two Grey Hills. I found them, and lots of empty, but beautiful landscape: I understand now that the outdoor scenes were shot on backlots with food coloring to make the rocks red. They should have taken the road trip I miss it. Everyday |
